Born and bred in Sherborne I’ve lived in numerous cities around the world, but Sherborne has a gravitational pull for me and I always knew I’d end up back here. The friendly people, the incredible historic buildings and the array of independent shops run by knowledgeable people make it such a unique place. I’m lucky to run my own business here now which gives me a wonderful opportunity to be actively involved in the local community.

Having lived and worked in Sherborne most of my life, I really enjoy the beauty of the town and how friendly people are. I get to meet a lot of people where I work at Seasons restaurant at The Eastbury Hotel and most of their comments to me when staying at the hotel is just how friendly and welcoming the town is to visitors. They find Sherborne relaxing, full of nice shops, great food and interesting places to visit and explore.

The wonderful variety of independent shops and businesses in our town makes it truly unique. Sherborne has something for everyone from the Panier Market to historic buildings and gardens, Literacy society and Exhibitions. The town has a real buzz and plenty of community spirt. Having lived here for the past twenty-four years I feel very lucky to be part of our town.
